Mommy got a new toy. My reaction, "And where's the new toy for Lucy Bird???" She claims this new toy is really more for me, yet went on to explain that I'm not allowed to bite, peck, chew, gnaw, and no, I'm not even allowed to touch it. Hmmmmm . . . I was a bit confused.

Mommy's back! Where has she been? Well, that's a long story. Being the NOISY, chatty, sometimes obnoxious bird (as Mommy would say) that I am, I'm going to tell you. . . .

This is Mommy's favorite time of year in Arizona. Not, by all means, because we've reached triple digits. Mommy's tolerance for heat is about what mine is. 85 tops would be just fine. . . .

Mom's been spending all of her free time working on her other sites, which means, of course, that she's been neglecting mine. Over a month since my last post. Oh well, she did say that I could post a quick update on my clicker training . . .

When I started talking, several years ago, Mommy decided that I should earn my keep. After all, there were apples and carrots and peas and corn and tacos and french fries (oops, I'm not allowed to have those anymore! ;) to be purchased on a weekly basis. And, of course, let's not forget to mention the all-important toys!!! . . .

Mommy tends to bite off more than she can chew. She gets bored easily (as I do – that’s why I scream so much!), and jumps from one project to the next, rarely finishing any of them. Her latest thing is something called Clicker Training.

I know, I know. Not a single post about Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's to boot! But the title to my latest post has nothing to do with the fact that I didn't post to my blog during the holidays. I literally stopped talking!

Oh boy... It's that time of year again. Weird creatures running about our home, and Mom finally had to get me out of my good cage and put me to bed in the yucky one . . .

Miranda over at Cages by Design sent Mom and me a quick note saying that we should enter Chet's video contest. After all, the prize is $250! That's a lot of new toys for me!

Mommy was very sad today, when she received an email from Chet at birdtricks.com, with a link to an article about Alex.

Mom was able to get much closer. Take a peak . . .

One of my previous posts talked about Mommy wanting another parrot. Well, her wish has come true! . . . sort of . . .

I'm tired of chewing the toy on my swing. That big rope looks a whole lot tastier!

Yesterday, my site had gray feathers all over the background. Today I've got bright yellow, orange, and blue, making me a very happy bird. I love it, Mom!
